Thanks. But meanwhile I found the shortcomings to be too many, and bought AVS Video Editor, with which I am very happy, so far.

I have a two hour sequence and have been adding subtitles. But videopad won't let me add anything beyond one hour into the sequence; if for example I enter a start point of 4000.00 it defaults back to 1 hour (3600). Is this a bug or some limitation I am unaware of?
