  1. I have actually purchased the the Pro version (5.48) and am experiencing this for the first time. I have used ES for years with no problem but now when I speed up sound files the words are totally distorted, as if the speaker is swallowing them. I like to proof my work at fast speeds and this is making it totally impossible. I am upset because I have paid for the program and even updated it! So it's an issue with the program whether you have purchased it or not. Anyone out there have any good advice on how to fix this?
  2. I love the "copy time" option, but am wondering if anyone knows how to make it possible to do this in fewer steps, rather than having to copy the time to the clipboard and then pasting into a document. Any way to just use keystrokes to get it right on the document, bypassing the clipboard? Thanks!
  3. Thanks for your response. I'll try to be patient next time. But I have also found that if I try to load two tracks from a CD into Express Scribe, what happens is that the first track loads twice. Maybe, though, it has to do with me trying to load two at once or something. I'm not sure.
  4. I often receive sound files on CDs, which I then load into Express Scribe to transcribe. However, I can generally only load the first track from the CD. I have to rip all other tracks using a media player and THEN load them into Express Scribe. Is there any way to streamline this? Why does the first track load easily from the CD, but the following ones don't? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  5. I have just had a request to transcribe compressed QT (Quick Time) files which would be transferred via an FTP server. Anyone have any experience using Express Scribe with these files? I have never done so but would like to know if it can be done. Thanks.
