    CPU Usage

In my experience, the limitations have to do with hardware and bus speeds not the software. For example, take your USB hub and divide it's bandwidth by 12, do you now have enough bandwidth per USB card for Audio? If you are only operating with a 400MHz bus, then a USB hub at or below this bandwidth, you only have 33.3MHz of the bus available per card at best. The fact that the software is capable of operating up to 96 audio channels does not mean the hardware you have purchased is capable of this. However, a couple of things you can try to maximize the bandwidth you do have is: Minimize the number of filters/compression/features that you are using that adds to bandwidth and CPU cycles. Choose a lower bit rate for the recording of audio streams. The more audio cards you can place directly on the buss the better. A 64 bit buss will be better than a 32 bit bus. To me, it sounds like you will need to spend more money in hardware or sacrifice audio quality. -GW
  2. Crescendo is a basic Music Notation Editor that is in the early stages of development. You can add the lines and place notes on the lines for now. I have to physically tie the stave together right now for more than 2 lines of music.
  3. Have you had a chance to study and extrapolate a safety spectrum based on Fletcher and Munson Curves?

    Software Help

It looks like the default for Cache Converted Files is 100, when chche is full...do nothing, and crossfade autofader is 15 seconds. Do you still have this problem when you adjust these options?
  5. Are you trying to remove the DRM?
  6. I think this might be easier with WavePad since you are creating on-hold messages and not looking for a stereo output. I would combine my music on one channel and record my voice on the other channel. Then you can cross fade the channels and add other effects with precise control.

Axon Virtual PBx Software is Virus Trojan and Malware Free From a technical troubleshooting standpoint, I would always look at the last change made first. When I get responses for false positives from Virus Total, they come from an employee of Kaspersky. Checking the Virus Total 42 Anti-Virus databases, non of them report a virus, trojan, malware or any other issue with Axon.
  8. VideoPad is a Virus Malware and Trojan Free Program As a follow up, on Monday July 12th, Virus Total reported a 6/42 for the VideoPad Video Editing Software download file. A-Squared, VBA32, Ikarus, Kaspersky, and 2 from McAfee calling out some form of a Trojan Win32 or in McAfee's case, I submitted false positive reports to Ikarus, VBA32 and McAfee. I did not submit one to A-Squared because their false positive looked like it came from the Ikarus database and Kaspersky is the Virus Total report. After they checked the VideoPad software more thoroughly, I received a positive response they would remove the false positive from their database. The next day our Virus Total report for VideoPad was 0/42. It looks to me that these Anti-Virus companies are sharing each others databases.
  9. VideoPad is a Virus Free Program As a follow up, on Monday July 12th, Virus Total reported a 6/42 for the VideoPad Video Editing Software download file that did not include Comodo reporting a false positive. A-Squared, VBA32, Ikarus, Kaspersky, and 2 from McAfee calling out some form of a Trojan Win32. I submitted false positive reports to Ikarus, VBA32 and McAfee. I did not submit one to A-Squared because their false positive looked like it came from the Ikarus database and Kaspersky I believe piggybacks from other databases too. After they checked the VideoPad software more thoroughly, I received a positive response they would remove the false positive from their database. The next day our Virus Total report for VideoPad was 0/42. This morning, I submitted 375 files to Quick Heal because their anti-virus software is the worst anti-virus program I've seen for flagging false positives. If you use one of the off brand products, I would like to hear about your experience with false positives.

    Guitar Tuner

Has anyone used PitchPerfect Guitar Tuner to tune their piano and could you offer some advice? I believe it would be a great application for PitchPerfect but I haven't tried it yet and I've never tuned a piano before...but I think I could do it with PitchPerfect.

RecordPad - False Positive for Virus, Trojans or Malware Sophos detecting a virus in RecordPad is a false positive. NCH Software makes sure their audio software is free from virus', malware, or trojans before software is released. Google scans NCH Software's website at least once a week to check for virus', malware, and trojans and they do not detect malware on NCH Software's Website, which includes all of NCH Software's download files. Below, I included a report from VirusTotal that can check the most popular anitvirus packages at once. No Virus, Malware, or Trojans were found from AVG, Symantec, or McAfee and many others including Sophos. Once in a while, CAT-Quickheal will call out a suspicious file like it did in this report. CAT-Quickheal is an antivirus program that is statistical based and is notorious for false positives. Then, some of the antivirus programs can collect data from Virus Total and return a false positive. RecordPad is listed on all the major software download sites, which thoroughly tests software before listing a product to protect their customers. RecordPad continues to receive 5 Star Awards and Editor's Picks from popular software sites. Therefore, I think it is save to conclude you have a false positive virus report. 14. NCH Software makes sure their audio software is free from virus', malware, or trojans before software is released. Additionally, Google scans NCH Software's website at least once a week to check for virus', malware, and trojans. I checked Express Scribe's download file today on a website that can check 41 anitvirus packages at once. No virus, Malware, or Trojans were found from AVG, Symantec, or McAfee. Express Scribe also has received no virus, malware, or trojan awards from suggestsoft.com and softarea51. Additionally, Express Scribe transcription player received 5 Star Awards from Core Downloads, Download Pipe, Gear Downloads, Download Nice, and Download Mart. Express Scribe was the Editor's Pick on Download Route and received a Golden Award from EuroDownload.com. The same result was found with Express Dictate Dictation Software. Therefore, I suspect you have a false positive reading from AVG.
