  1. To update my own post, If you install the Olumpus DSS Player Standard software that came with your Olympus digital voice recorder (DS-2400 in my case) then Switch will convert the files. So what can we rip from the Olympus install of that software to add as a component for Switch to convert it without needing the Olympus software? There must be a DLL or something that it's using from the system that comes from that install.
  2. I know there is built in support for .DSS but what about the newer .DS2 format? People are posting about having trouble with it but no one seems to be responding. Anyone know if .DS2 is supported? Any attempts to read from that format say in the Switch program "Unable to read from source format" or something similar.
  3. I have the latest freeware version of Switch installed. I tested converting a .DS2 file from an Olympus DS-2400 to mp3 and it worked fine. I have since tried converting to WMA and am now getting an error after pressing convert that "The specified source format could not be read.". I've verified it is recording in SP mode. It's possible I previously had the olympus dss player software installed when I did the mp3 conversion. I'm trying to include a batch conversion of files from the recorder into wma format into a script for my users so I don't have to go and install the Olympus software everywhere. I don't know why it won't convert anymore unless it was relying on the Olympus software. I have downloaded dss32.exe from the component page and verified it worked. I ran the directX update and I'm on XP. Any ideas or options?
