  1. I bought EXPRESS BURN PLUS on 6/30/14 for use on my Dell computer running on Windows 7. After encountering many problems in creating video DVDs, I was able to download EXPRESS BURN PLUS version 4.77 early in 2015 which resolved many of the problems in burning video DVDs. I was able to show them my external DVD player. I had not tried to burn audio CDs until recently and to my disappointment I found that I cannot burn audio CDs. I tried several times using both Memorex and Sony CD-R blank disks. Express Burn went through its processing steps (e.g.reading the mp3 files, writing, verifying) and then displayed a statement to the effect that an audio CD had been successfully created which could play on an external CD player. However when I withdrew the CD from the PC's CD Drive, the CD appeared blank and did not play on my stereo system CD player. This was repeated several times with different mp3 files while normal commercial cds play w ell on my CD player. I have no such problems with Video DVDs which i create with Express Burn Plus. They do play on my external DVD players. I wonder if I could download a newer version of Express Burn Plus which does not have this problem and could produce both Video DVDs as well as audio CDs as NCH claims in its advertising of Express Burn Plus. I have the EXPRESS BURN PLUS license registration code for the 6/30/14 download code but I wonder whether this would activate the license so that the program works. I had an earlier version of Express Burn which did not have this problem but was induced to purchase the newer version because NCH claimed that the newer version could handle Blue Ray. When I downloaded the current version, the earlier version of Express Burn was deleted from my computer leaving me with this dilemma. I do not believe I should have to pay anything additional for correcting the problem of not being able to process audio CDs which NCH claims its product can handle. This reflects badly on NCH especially since it is so difficult to get NCH service unless additional payment is made EVEN TO CORRECT NCH BUGS!!!! Has any Express Burn Plus user encountered similar problems in burning audio CDs? Any suggestions? I have requested NCH support and am still waiting for an NCH reply.
  2. I am a new user and have been examining the suite of applications for CD and DVD burning. I have successfully used NCH Express Burn to create audio CDs and Video DVDs. However when the video file I wish to convert to a DVD is too large for a single DVD disk, I must split the video file into smaller segments each of which may be burned to a DVD disk. I have used NCH Video Pad Editor to split the larger video file into two segments and can select the Create Movie option to burn each segment to a DVD video disk. However, in Video Pad Editor, I see no provision for adding chapters to the DVD video disk to be burned for each segment. Is there a way to add chapters in the Video Pad Editor? Or, is it possible to transfer the newly created segments to the NCH Express Burner where chapters may be created prior to burning the video DVD? I suspect that there must be a way to do this in the fine suite of NCH software. Any help here would be much appreciated. MRELKAY@AOL.COM
