    SQLLink Plugin

One of our customers supplied the following information : I have not used the SQLLink plugin to return multiple variables but I would first check my query to make sure I get the desired results in the database program that I use. For example I am using Access, I write the query in access and then execute it to make sure I get the results I need. Then I view the SQL and copy it and paste it into the OGM plugin setup criteria and modify the variables to be variables I pass from IVM (i.e. SELECT %Friend% FROM Friends). FYI - I have had problems with long SQL queries getting truncated by IVM, which forced me to make two database queries to get all the information I wanted from the database. I also had problems with pulling text information in as values because Access requires double quotes to be used around text when making calls to the database. When you use quotes in the call executed in the plugin the query gets truncated and will not work. Therefore the lesson learned is to try to make calls to the database using numerical values or single word text values as variables to avoid this from happening. Hope this helps.
  2. The easiest way to get the "welcome" file back is to download and install a new copy of Express Scribe over your existing copy. You could also reload the file from the following folder : C:\Program Files\NCH Swift Sound\Scribe\Done Files Roy

    Data Entry

I am not sure that I understand what your problem is but perhaps the following suggestions will help. ~ The data entered is given a variable name in the OGM - eg "number" . This variable can be used later in the IVM as %number%. ~ For example you might be able to use %number% as the number in the call transfer window. ~ You might be able to use %number% as the name of a mailbox in the leave message .. menu item . ~ Have a look in the example on our website for 0 - 1000 mailboxes. ~ Always test your setup using the call simulator and view the consequence of a change by opening the system log ( in file//view or print logs) after ever change. Roy
  4. John, It sounds as if one of the modems is mis-interpreting part of the message as a dtmf tone. Have a look in the system logs ( file//view or print logs) to see what is happening. We generally recommend a telephony board ( eg CallURL) for more than one line. Roy
  5. We have had good reports about the compatibility of the Multi-Tech MT5656ZDXV voice modem .
