  1. I have a Sony DVD Recorder Player attached to my PC. I have already save a personal VHS tape to my pc with no problem. When I try to have a save done to create a DVD, the software goes through the whole process and then fails with the message that doesn't seem to be a disk in the Sony. I can see the drive in Windows Explorer and can open it, so I know the drive works. I am using NTSC. I have tried different settings but nothing seems to work
  2. I was having the same problem. I was using the USB connection for the preview and the record. As soon as I started the record, I lost the sound also. I ended using a Converter (GLiGlx2800), connecting my VHS player to this and then the GLx2800 to my pc's audio port. After this, I had no problems.
