  1. I've done a lot of reading about Axon and I still have a very basic question that I'm not quite clear about. Let me tell you my scenario; and you can tell me if this is possible with Axon or any other combination of hardware/software. My parents run a small business. They have one regular telephone line, and four telephones all using that same line (no extensions, in the x123 sense of the word). My mom would like to do some work from home. I was hoping to use Axon and the SPA3102 to create a virtual 5th phone at home. I'd like the remaining phones to continue to operate as normal, and the softphone at home to ring along with the office phones. Whomever gets to the call first would take the call. The more I read about Axon, the more I'm gathering that the PBX actually intercepts the phone call, the way an answering machine would, the other phones on the line don't ring (or only ring once), and only the SIP phone can receive the call. Is this correct? If so, are there any creative suggestions for getting around this? Thanks for your input!
