    OGM doesn't Play

IVM Version 5.04. XPSP3 The only software on this machine is IVM. It will be a dedicated Phone machine. (if we can get some support to get it working.) I am using a Multitech MT5656ZDX-v Modem. I've tested the modem in windows with voice and audio capabilities working. I have even had Multitech support verify the modem is a voice modem connected and working properly in XP. See the following: {{Name: Jeff Kline Company: Multi-Tech Systems, Inc. Reason Pending: Requesting More Information Description: Hi; No; you do not need to upgrade any firmware. The modem is working fine. I would recommend contacting this company for support on their software. I'm sorry but we do not provide support on user software. Cheers; Jeff} Ticket number 5026242} . The modem is seen in the IVM software under the Telephony tab. It picks up the call but no outgoing message is heard on the PC or over the phone line and the call is immediately disconnected. I cannot hear it on the pc speakers or the phone calling into the system/software. The call simulator seems to work fine. I look forward to hearing back from anyone who can assist in getting this software to work. I've used older versions in the past and it IS great IF you can get it to work. I wish it had better support, such a shame. PLEASE HELP.
  2. I have a very similar setup I am also using XPSP3 and A Multitech MT5656ZDX-v Modem. I've tested the modem in windows with voice and audio capabilities working. I cannot hear it on the pc speakers or the call dialed into the software. The call simulator seems to work fine. There are Three choices under the 'Audio' option Intel integrated, Default sound out, and Modem#1 line playback. Currently I have selected the intel option. I look forward to hearing back from anyone who can assist in getting this software to work. I've used older versions in the past and it IS great IF you can get it to work. 3. I've been using IVM Version 4.0 since it came out (looking into upgrade now). I"m running it on a 2.4GHZ XP Pro SP2 machine with 2GB of ram and 2 - 300GB hard drives @ 7200 RPM. The issue I'm having is one that the Answering attendant doesn't seem to know when the caller has disconnected and I get a lot of messages with recordings of dial tones or opperator recording of instructions on what to do to make a call. What settings can I change or what can I do so that IVM Answering Attendant knows the call has disconnected and resets for the next call? My 'Telephone Audio play Process' settings are: Volume Level Adjust -5db Tone High pass Filter 0Hz Compressor Threshold 0db My 'Recording Messages' Settings are: Record Detect Level -16db As Always any assistance is greatly apreciated.
  4. I've been using IVM Version 4.0 since it came out (looking into upgrade now). I"m running it on a 2.4GHZ XP Pro SP2 machine with 2GB of ram and 2 300GB hard drives @ 7200 RPM. I've no speed issues with ANYTHING on this machine BUT... The response time given to callers. When a caller calls and IVM answers and gives prompts. It is 1 to 3 seconds after a key is pressed by the caller that IVM responds. For most callers this 'LAG' is to long for them and they press another key or the same key again. This Can cause issues as you can imagine. Is there anything I can do or look into to speed up this functioning? (I have the program and all the file folders IVM uses in the Exclusion list of my virus scan software and I am running NO local firewalls of anykind)
  5. I have currently installed version 4.0 running on a P4 2.4Ghz with 2GB Ram. XP SP2. My original purchase was two or three years ago. I have TWO questions: Will there be a charge to install the 4.11 update? Will the 4.11 update include all previous updates or do I have to do each update one at a time to get to version 4.11?
