The hotkeys are enabled as per default installation (on the other computers I did not have to enable anything). I do not know what you mean by "global hotkeys", is there another option I am unaware of? I only checked that the various F keys are listed in the control - hotkeys setup panel, and yes, they are. Thanks.

That would not be feasible because often, before the actual meeting starts, they do audio tests and that would cause too many unwanted files to be created.

Dear all, we are experiencing some problems with the function keys in express scribe, both in the mini version and in the standard version. The function keys do not work and the word function keys take over (i.e. F7 instead of going fast forward does the spellcheck). This only happened on some (not all) windows 2000 machines. Is there a way to solve this problem? Thanks a lot, Ivan

Hi all, we are using VRS to record from 8 channels simultaneously during important UN conferences and we need to be able to start all the channels immediately when people start to talk (and they do not inform us when they are going to). Since the buttons are also very small and it is not easy to click on them (seconds are precious here!) I would be grateful if a button "start all/stop all" could be implemented. Thanks a lot for any feedback. Ivan
