    LISTENING LIVE

As long as each mic is set on a seperate channel you can use Remote Monitor to listen live
  2. Im not sure this is the correct forum to ask this but I didnt see any other topics similar so will ask here. Please direct me to other forum if you know of one to help. I have a client who has VRS Recording System on their computer. They had a hard-drive crash and the hard drive is unusable. They couldnt retrieve anything from it. My question is, will NCH allow them to re-install the software on a new hard drive since they had already purchased license for the software? Was purchased only about 4 months ago. Thanks for any help.

    scanner compatible

Yes you can monitor scanner with this. That is what I do. Record with VRS and listen live with Remote Monitor
  4. This may simply be an internet connex. issue but just wanted to ask in case anyone else has had this issue come up. Usually when Remote Monitor disconnects(for whatever reason), it will show the words "Connection Broken!". Lately Ive had it happen where it still shows "Audio Connected" yet the connection is dead. I can tell this because first of all, I dont hear any "static" noise from the speakers that is usually there when its connected. Also I can go back to the recordings and see that there was something recorded just a few seconds ago yet it didnt come thru on the Remote Monitor. If you have had this happen and know what I can do to remedy this, I would certainly appreciate it. Thanks!!
  5. Its because u are using trial version. Once u pay for it, all will work once u set it up.
  6. I answered my own question Had a space between Channel numbers in the number 4 name. Also, once I deleted history cache etc, I needed to shut off VRS from the menu in lower right hand corner to completely shut it off. In other words the old "setup" was still running in the background.
  7. Mine do go to the Recycle Bin. Are you deleting them right from the VRS Recordings page or are you going to VRS (find and play) at the top? I delete from the Find/Play and they go to my BIN.
  8. If you are using VRS and have a device that records with microphone, you can run that into your soundcard on puter then monitor it with Remote Monitor software that is free to download when you purchase VRS. Hope that helps.
  9. Ive got 4 radio/scanners that Im recording with VRS. Initially everything was working fine. Now instead of the channels being in chronological order now channel 4 show up first on the list and I cannot access that channel to play the recordings. Channels one thru three are fine but when I try to listen to 4, it says cannot find website etc etc. Ive rebooted puter and cleared history, cache, files etc etc. Can anyone help?? Thanks!
