-------------------------------------------------- I was having problems with wavepad freezing, A window popped up & said would you mind reporting this , so I did, after I clicked "send" a message came up & said there is a down load for your glitch or problem ( Not exact words) so I clicked on that & it downloaded a file , it appeared to be an install packet, well I already had the program installed---but they must know that? WELL.. yes they did know that because what I installed was a NEW PROGRAM I HAD TO BUY!!!!!! my 3rd purchase, 6th overall. I purchase a program from humans, not BOTS. I see no response here to any of the above, so I guess this is just a venting board.

well thanks for clearing that up for me hummm I was not even refering to switch, in the original post . I purchased: 1 wavepad 3. then upgraded to the latest a month ago 2 purchased switch a yr ago 3 purchased express burn I did not purchase support.. I have not recieved any form of upgrade news or anything, its like we just want your money...now vamoose.. well... just the truth. I would think that NCH could send out a note to purchasers... hey... here is an updated version... or something.. this "MO" is not the best for word of mouth sales.. just my opinion. may be when this law suit is over.. I will forget the name of the progrms I used.... to expose the truth.. oh well . sqeaky wheel gets the grease I hear.

I thanked him for his reply to the post as far as "Plus" version I am guessing it is the latest version of wavepad. other then that I do not know. later..

Hi I too am waiting for the VST & directx problems to be resolved. any dates yet for the update? rather disapointing that the program does not work well with vst's & directx just "hangs" when one trys to edit the settings. thanks hope to hear some good news soon I have 3 of the NCH products

Hi it would be nice if the direct x would work... & would have more routing options AKA file access. both vst & direct x do not seem to pick up added DLL's for some reason & both seem to lock up all the time? Also a "wrapper" or host that would work with wavepad, just asking thanks I purchased 3 of the products

all so what "host program works with wavepad.? ty

yes I have the same problem as above: the direct x does not seem to work & how do i get other direct x into program & why will the program not recognize other DLL's even after reinstalling it thanks anyone know anything ?

Hi what I meant is that I clicked on the little file icon ,when it opened it sowed smoe mp3's but not the m3u files ,so I selected all files then selected the m3u & it would not recognize it. I understand now what a m3u is . sorry for the confusion I got add & it is not conducive to pathways. as I had said before I loaded one in the itunes, copied it, then pasted the url & dbl clicked on it & it opened a download of a useable mp3 so I achieved what I wanted. thanks for your help, & again sorry for the confusion .ty

I searched it out on the net, then I opened it in itunes, copied it ,pasted it , then dbl clicked on it, it went to the net & provided a mp3 to use. thanks for your help. the switch would not reconize it, I am using a pc. Thank you very much for your informative answer.

I purchased a fully operational program..... 1 itune will play it but the mp3 player I wanted to load it on did not recognize it. 2 I "purchased a program that said it would convert it but would not do as it stated= "switch" switch ya know that thing a school marm swaps one with when one is a smartalec 3 IT will enable me to hear the word of God on mp3 , for we learn by hearing as well as reading. You are a fine ambasider for nch, such grace, such humilty to teach the unlearned thank you very much for your time a simple answer would have been quicker.

I purchased 3 NCH products in June with no support I purchased switch to convert m3u files it does not reconize them....HELP? or is there a program I can use to switch these ?

will this product work in the wavepad program ? This plug in is based on the AFDF Automatic Forensic Adaptive Filter that is found in the Continuous Noise Filter of our popular DC LIVE/Forensics software product. Diamond cut productions. When I activate this vst plug it zero's out the audio to nothing ? plus the controls on the vst are not reachable must be incompatable huh? Is there another way to use vst's with wavepad? thanks

the "fidhtank " gurgling sound may be from taking too large of a sample taking a very small sample seems to get rid of the mishmash sound. it has anyway things seem to change here & there though ty

It's now aug 21st & I am also waiting for an explaination on this "funky noise" are we grabbing to much sample? I purchased the program & would sure like the keys ty Dale

I down loaded some plug ins but I can't get them to show up when i open the file? any hints? ty ok I found some it sure is bulky to use them though. searching for noise elimination vst plugs if anyone knows of any free of course ..I'm broke thanks

I have some tapes that i need to clean all but the voices I was told that voices are from 400 to 25-2600 mhz is there a formula for cleaning audio tapes these tapes were dubbed with a 4 track recorder (voices ) were put on How can I clean all the garbage out (what filters & what order) then what is the best sample rate to save said files? thank you Dale

Thank you I got it down loaded & installed ver 4 the part that bothered me was when I down loaded it the 1st time & it would not update, sorry this gets confusing I'm trying it now going to see if it will burn a DVD now when it would not before. ty Dale
