Recording from USB device

How do i record from a USB device? There is no option to record from one in the options. Is it possible? I can record from the mic jack but not from my USB Device.

Help is much appreciated!

As long as your USB port recognizes your device (example - when I plug my headset into the USB, the computer recognizes as 'Logitech USB Headset'), then so should the program. Try setting the record device as Mic. That worked for me.

Hi,

Yes the device should create a new sound device that you can select in Record pad to record from.

Not all devices behave like this though. Some devices need special software to record from them. While others will install their own sound driver and can be used with other programs.
