You can if you setup the web access in express accounts and the computer that express accounts is on has to be on all the time

goto "Tools" then "Options"

Goto the tab "Web Accounts" and setup a account

when done goto "Web Access"

Clike start. will also have to "run web routing and test wizard.

you mite also have to configure your modem for your internet yourself.

I think you are being a little unfair to NCH. Apple is only one platform.

First - As long as you have web access - you should be able to get to the accounts.

With respect to an APP -- I think what you are asking for will be out later this year -- a tablet that runs Windows 8. Once this comes along - ALL PC apps will be able to run on a tablet and it will make the iPad seem like a toy compared to the real tablets that will run Win 8. I just think you need to be a little patient -- what you want is coming soon enough.

Hi mcgcs,

Thanks for your positive sounding response! I take it there is no other option but to leave a computer on? Could i store the info in some kind of remote site or server? Or a cloud thingy?

Many thanks

Hi,

I am sorry to to say it the only way is to leave the computer on 24/7/365. I got my hands on a eeepc nettop pc and using it for express accounts as it uses very little power. I have also set up expess accounts for a friend at the start of this year on a old laptop. The laptop screen is broken and he use web access to do all his work and he has a extrenal montor pluged in to the laptop so he can do work on it if he needs bu he has told me he has never used it yet.

pyz01,

I can tell you I have a acer W500 table that runs windows 7 and express acount and other app out there run very well on it. There is one problem with express accounts beening on the table and on a pc in the office there is no way to merg the 2 togeather and I dont see any new order my wife or my brother takes an order in the office. I am using the web access for about 3 years now and its grate and if any of my costmors ask for a copy of an old invoice or a statment I can print it for them on the spot or e-mail it to them.
