mp3 to cda ???

new here to burning....this may sound dumb...im trying to burn music downloaded

on computer in MP3 or windows mediaplayer format .....to a cd that can be played in typical cd-players.....

 

Is the format "cda" and is it used in typical CD players and does switch

do that....???

 

if so how...????

Actually, the NCH burner utility does support mp3 in its burning app. I don't have personal experience with this app but the NCH web page says mp3 is supported. This usually means that the app will do the necessary conversion to cda for you. No conversion needed on your end.

 

You want to make sure that you choose the AudioCD option for burning, and if it gives you a choice, choose Disk At Once rather than Track At Once. This will "close" the disk to further buning, but it will make your CD play in the most CD players.
