Tracking is off

I am trying to create an MP3 CD. This is not my first MP3 CD. However, this one is a little different because it is for musical accompaniment for prison ministry so we need all the songs on the same CD. When I initially tried placing all the songs the total length was about 5MB too long. So I first tried checking the overburn option, but the tracks were not marked correctly. When skipping to the track I want, it would be in the middle of another song. So then I tired making several of the longest songs smaller by using Switch to decrease the KBPS. I unchecked the overburn box and reburned. It had the same result exactly. The tracks were marked incorrectly in the exact same place as before. And it doesn't seem to matter what I do anymore the tracks are no longer correct. I have tried a number of things. I actually think it is the files somehow. I tried burning different music files and they work fine. I tried burning fewer of the files and the tracks are still off. I then noticed that the bit rate of the other files were 128kbps and the ones that are off was 256kbps. So I uses Switch to convert all of them to 128kbps. But this still did not fix the tracking issue. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I have never burned an mp3 disc, and I don't know if this might help, but maybe..

Have you tried re-naming the tracks (in the original folder) so the titles start with numerals; for example, '01. song title' ? Then I believe they will be easier to order in the burn window.

Did the conversion to all 128kbps free up enough space for one cd?

I am having the same issues with the tracks not corresponding with the original files, it is imperative that the tracks remain in order. I have renamed the original files AND numbered them to no avail. Very disappointed in this program, fifty bucks is a lot of money to pay for something that does not work. Can anyone tell me how to ask for a refund?
