Bug - Frames repeated before transition.

This is visible in preview and final output on 5.03 - if using a transition between clips, the final frame before the transition steps the film back 1 frame. Eg (assuming normal frame order A, B, C...)

What's the format and frame rate of the clips?

Place two transitioning clips that have the problem on the time line.  Then click  FILE|SAVE PORTABLE PROJECT.

Upload the result to a server and link it here, so folks can try to recreate what you see.

NA, seems to be doing it on everything, including non-video text clips, and through the preview before any encoding. Mostly though I use imported iPhone videos (H264, VFR, etc).

In the project, see the final clip when the fade starts (the others will do the same thing, but are on black screens when transitions start so you can't spot the added frames). But ultimately, just add a transition to any project's clips and watch. If it doesn't do it, it is just me :|

Note that the fades ins/outs of isolated text on seperate video tracks doesn't cause any issues, only transitions between clips in the same track.

Definitely seen in the final.

But in order to recreate it use FILE|SAVE PORTABLE PROJECT and upload that to the server, to link here.  Zip it if it's large.  The VPJ file will be included.

i have the same problem.  

the last frame in my animation is a black frame. if i loop my animation the black frame break the loop :-)

This thread is quite old and VP has moved on from version 5.03. to which it relates . What version of VP are you using?

The latest version is 6.21 give it a try and see if your problem persists...

hi i know this thread is very old but i have VP v6.10 and the video in the sequence preview is repeating 2 frames and the audio is mono and on the left the video FPS is 60 1080p MOV format

and my pc is also kind of crap running windows 8.1

Those issues are likely fixed.  Try the latest version.

For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months.  After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest.

Unregistered versions will have some limitations.
