Audio Gone

I had about 3 minutes of audio in one of my latest projects and the clips are still there, but it shows the clips are blank and there is no sound. There are files in my associated with my project that are .aud files, but they will not open in the Mixpad project. I have the 3.78 version. This is very upsetting because I have worked on this project for hours and now all of this audio is gone. Please help. Thank you.
