dew2100 Posted September 5, 2016 Share Posted September 5, 2016 I have an HP spectre 360 laptop with the Microphone-in/headphone-out combo jack, and I have Soundtap Streaming Audio Recorder version 3.00 and I cannot get it to record. I keep getting the message: "waiting on audio stream". I have tried every thing I know to do to no avail. Help! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Chris75 Posted September 6, 2016 Share Posted September 6, 2016 On the program Soundtap you may go to Options > Devices and select the input device you would like to record from. If you are recording what plays through your speakers then you may want to start the playback program or application first and then launch Soundtap. Make sure the right recording device is selected in your Windows Audio settings, you may right click on the Speaker Icon on your computer tasks bar and select Recording devices and then select the option What U Hear or Stereo Mix.
