Delays on playback

Hi

 

I just purchased the software and recording vocals. I am experiencing delays on tracks that are recorded after the first track. I have made sure the record button is switched off on other tracks whilst recording current track. I have used headphone thinking the played back sound is causing an issue. But this is causing more problems with the currently recorded sound. It sounds very low and still with delays. I am using Windows 10. I am sure I didn't see this problem on my trial version which was on Windows 8.1. I am using a laptop which is using an internal mic.
