UDS111
Hello, I've upgraded to Windows 10 and initially Scribe worked, albeit I only had sound in one ear-phone! After closing down my machine and re-starting I then found I had no sound. Yes, the headphones worked, I've used on various other media programs and all is well. I've tried other headsets and still nothing. I can see that Scribe still works with my foot pedal and by using the buttons as the digits are moving on but no sound even with the headphones taken out. I've fiddled around with settings (don't ask me which ones I can't remember) and still nothing. Any suggestions?
EvaPScott
Perhaps you moved the slider bar by accident on the volume? When you have the program open, it is on the bottom right corner. You slide it for how loud or soft you want the program to play. [This might be an obvious answer, but in case it's not.]
westerly
I have the same problem as UDS111: no sound on Express Scribe shortly after upgrading to Windows 10. I've tried all the troubleshooters on my computer and tried the Windows 10 sound fixes set out here: http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/windows-10-how-fix-sound-issues-after-upgrade-1513693 Nothing solved my problem. I use Express Scribe for my freelance writing business and this has been a very frustrating and maddening experience. Anyone out there have any suggestions? Cheers. .
