CHECK SOUND DEVICE HAS BEEN COREECTLY CONFIGURED

Recommended Posts

I'm having exactly the same problem, has anyone managed to find a solution?

Edited to update: I disabled the sound driver in the device manager, restarted laptop, enabled sound driver again and now it's all working fine. Something to do with Windows 10.

Hi Chard - I discovered that it was just a simple setting on my desktop PC (Windows 7). I was using a headset with headphone/mic combination and for some reason it did not like being plugged into the front panel of the PC - so i plugged it in the back and had our IT chap do some fine adjustmemts and now it is working. I will remember your tip if I update to Windows 10! Thanks!!!
