sdp1969
After buying Debut yesterday, I realized that my capture was not getting the audio. Well... after a few hours I figured it out. I have a macbook retina with Yosemite OS. To view the video I use http://www.macblurayplayer.com or quicktime. I have downloaded a program called sound flower to assist in may audio needs. Inter-application Audio Routing Utility for Mac OS X Soundflower is a Mac OS X (10.2 and later) system extension that allows applications to pass audio to other applications. http://soundflower.soft32.com When capturing a video source make sure the Debut audio is set for sunflower 2 channel and the mac sound output is also set for sunflower 2 channel. When you play back the video, make sure you set the output of the mac to internal speakers and the player (macblurayplayer) to built in output. So make sure that when recording, the Debut and audio output for the mac is set to sunflower 2ch and when playing the recorded media, the mac and software player are set to speakers or build in output. Hope this helps. Steven
rcbuitron
I am using Debut on Mac Pro desktop, OS 10.9.5. I think I have tried everthing, but so far unsuccessful in gettiing audio when capturing streaming video. Solutions I have tried is the Sunflower setting and the male to male mini cable connected to the computer's In/Out audio lines. I have also sent an email to NCH support but haven't heard from them yet. Any suggestions? Thanks, Rob
