No RGB Options for Webcam...please help!

HI All - love LOVE this program. It works great on my computer. I am trying to work with a friend across the country and have this program record direct using his webcam - he is going to publish a series of lectures. Now, here is the problem - when he selects WEBCAM and then chooses OPTIONS, there is only YUV and no RGB. Moreover, the only resolution available at 30 FPS is standard definition - we need 1080P, but it is only 5 FPs YUV.

 

Is this a webcam issue? A 3-D card issue? A monitor issue? A slow, old CPU issue?

 

Are there settings that can be changed in Windows 7?
