jwade
Hello, Is there anyway to recover a recording in progress, when my system went down. I was recording a webinar, and I lost power to the house. The mp4 file is there, but it's not playable. I'm assuming that at the end of a recording, the m4 format is finalized. Is there a way (or any tool) to reopen the file and finalize it? Don't want to lose the first two hours of the webinar. Thanks, James
clemenzina
Sorry if my post misleads you into thinking I've got an aswer, I don't - but I'd love it if someone did. I have the same problem after a Windows crash, or when I'm recording in my sleep and Windows Update decides to reboot. I have Googled for a repair tool but not found anything yet. Bruce T
This just happened to me today. I lost a big project. I still have a big file but I can't open it. I wish there was some sort of backing up system for the software.
