rmoorhou Posted June 28, 2014 Share Posted June 28, 2014 I'm using the trial version of Debut to see if I will wok for me. I made 2 recordings that didn't record the sound. I read what to do and change the settings to speakers. I tried to go in and do a recording again, but when the program opens I get this message on the screen: "Error Starting Screen Capture - Try Again". Trying again does nothing! I rebooted the computer, but that did nothing Has anyone else had this problem or any suggestions on what to do? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Usually when I'm installing and select to record from speakers, Debut says it has to reboot to install the relevant whatever-it-needs. I would uninstall, during which process you should see an option to repair/reinstall - try that? Or complete the uninstall, reboot, an reinstall from scratch.
