peterwor
Ok, so I'm a huge text Expander fan but the Windows equivelant stinks and frankly, I just want something that wil type/expand some simple stsrings. However I have this issue that whenever I expand a string like an email address or any text (doesn't matter if it's RTF or TXT) I get an extra space on the end of the string, that's fine if it's expanding something like a name or some strings but it makes email address and passwords unusable. Is there anyway to remove these extra spaces? Can I add a backlspace to my string to expand?

mollieanne61
I was having the same problem and I switched from Simple Text to Rich Text and it solved the problem for me.

quesera74
This is the case for me, too. If I log out and log back in, the space will show up for about 10 minutes. Then I have to go back to typing two spaces after each expansion. Please fix ASAP. Very frustrating.
Bob_James
That looks like a usability bug. The keystroke (space' date=' enter, tab) that you use to terminate your shortcut ends up being inserted after your text. I'm filing a bug on this now.[/quote']Did this ever get fixed?
