Is there any way that I can configure WavePad to record direct from the internet orther than microphone input source? Also, I hate to purchase SoundTap. Guest Alex Chapman Posted January 9, 2014 Share Posted January 9, 2014 Hi churchpark, Substitute 'have' for 'hate' and you have your answer Basically, if one application (ie. your web browser) is playing audio, then to capture that audio before it is played through your speakers you need specialised software such as SoundTap. WavePad doesn't have this feature. If there is some way that you can get the actual file that your web browser is playing, then you have an even better solution to your problem: simply open that file in WavePad.
