2 Jointed Treble Clef and Base Clefs

why are four parts joined together and not two and two. It should be Treble Clef and Base Clef with the curly bracket joining them, not Treble Clef and Base Clef and Treble Clef and Base Clef with a curly bracket JOINED by a straight line, joining four bars together.

Hi Elta,

 

In the Parts dialog you can add parts, and to parts you can add staves. It sounds like what you have is one part with four staves, but what you need is two parts with two staves each. This is easy to achieve - just play around with the Parts dialog some more. Once you have two parts with two staves each you can change the lower staves to use Bass clef.

a propos parts : could crescendo play selected parts ?

 

by now, I think crescendo plays always all parts,

it would be really great, before starting "play", to be able to select which parts crescendo would play !

- for instance to learn sight-singing of one part while crescendo would play the other parts -

 

are you intending to add this feature to crescendo one day ? it would be so fantastic !

This did not help me to find out how to make a Piano-Voice score. I want a voice staff above a bracketed pair of staves for the piano score. Please explain how to do this!
