ksuarez Posted September 4, 2013 Share Posted September 4, 2013 Here is our problem, we are call center and purchased 7 copies of wavepad for our QA dept Environment Windows 2008 terminal servers and HP thin clients QA 1 tries to play file XYZ with fully registered version from thinclient1, quality is horrible full of noises, hissing and crackling QA2 tries to play file XYZ with unlicensed version from thinclient 1 just downloaded from from the NCH site and has none of those problems. Both users are playing from the same thin client, same network, and same server, the only difference as far as we can tell is one user has a registered version and the other unregistered copy. djakober Posted September 4, 2013 Share Posted September 4, 2013 Technical support should be able to help you with this...please follow the prompts starting at this link. There is a good chance that the version you downloaded is more recent than the version that you purchased - and maybe there was a fix implemented which is why you don't see issues with the recent version. There should be no differences in quality within the same version, regardless of registered vs unregistered - the only differences between registered and unregistered would be available features.
