will169
I am using Money Line check book registry. At times when I need to enter a transaction I have multiple categories I want to use, sucj as when I make a trip to Wal Mart. Is there a way to make entries without doing a new transaction each time? Thanks.
djakober
Hi. MoneyLine is a relatively new product. The second release should be live by early-mid August. New features include split categories (what you refer to above), recurring transactions, budgeting, and other key features...
irissmale
I have this same problem. Just downloaded the software and it seems pretty good. Found this in the help files: Split transactions are used to itemize transactions larger transactions into smaller amounts with multiple categories. Add Click the Add button to open add a new split for the current transaction. Delete Click the Delete button to delete the selected split for the current transaction. However, I find no "add button" to open a new split for the current transaction. Maybe I'm just not seeing it, but.... Any help to this newbie would be appreciated. Nettie1950
I found the split transaction function but can't find a way to edit the amounts. Frustrating!
Nettie1950
If anyone else is interested. You have to double click on the amount to edit it. then click "Add" to input another category. Figured that out by accident!
