Audio clicks during playback

WIth some CD's (not all) I get audio clicks in the ripped mp3 file. I've read the support page which says that means the files a protected but I don't believe that's the case here. In fact for the CD's where I have this prolem, several of the tracks play just fine, but one or two tracks have skips. I have checked the box to use CRC to fix errors.

 

I suppose that the number of errors is just beyond the capabilty of the CRC to fix (no ECC is perfect...) and I further suppose that I might get less errors if I slowed down the CD drive during ripping, but I do not see an option that allows me to do this. Does anyone know of such an option?
