Similar messages have been reported, yet at times the burn succeeded. An alternative is to write to disc then use other software to burn the file to DVD. Unfortunately, allowing Videopad, or even turning off the firewall, doesn't solve the problem on my computer. Thanks anyway. Nice ot you to share this.
