parish_tas
Hello Broadwave users. I stream an FM free to air radio station on Broadwave. This works fine. However I see reference in documentation and forums to using .asx, .m3u and .mp3 file extensions. For a live stream what is the correct file extension to use in the URL link? KenA
Hello the extension to use will depend upon the format and which client you are using. I always specify mp3, which seems to work for me.
parish_tas
Thanks for the reply. So, for a live stream only .. no replay of files ... a URL link of http://#.#.#.#:88/broadwave.mp3 should work for a Media Player client on XP/Win7 etc? We are using one source and setting the rate at 56kbits/sec.
KenA
Yes, that works for me in most players
