REQ: Intelligent audio input switch

Hello people at NCH,

 

I'd like to make a feature request which in my opinion would greatly improve the functionality of using Express Talk with multiple input devices. I for one have a bluetooth headset that I use with Express Talk softphone. Unfortunately, sometimes my headset is empty or not in the neighborhood of my computer, so then I use my USB headset. I'd like to suggest a feature in which I can setup which audio devices I'd like to use in order of preference and availability. That way the softphone could automatically switch to the first device available (for instance when my bluetooth headset is empty).

 

Skype for instance has a similar feature in its client:

 

 

It'd be great if you could implement this feature in a future version of your great software.
