ronaldl Posted September 15, 2011 Share Posted September 15, 2011 Version 1.84 runs okay under Windows XP sp3 with all updates from Microsoft. Win 7 has all updates installed. I uninstalled this version and then installed it under Windows 7 running on a 64 bit cpu with 12GBytes of memory and 1 TByte HD. Version 1.84 crashed while initializing, with the mesage "Golden Records Vinyl to CD Converter has crashed because of an abnormal exception". I submiited a bug report and was informed to try version 1.87. I installed the patch and same problem with same message occurred. One different between my two computers is that my Win 7 cpu has a Blue Ray DVD; which also reads CD and DVD. I can not figure out why it will not run under Win 7!
