Audio and Video Out of Sync

I've noticed that while recording the audio is out of sync with the video. I always stop the recording before finishing so I don't know what the finished outcome would be, but I'm assuming it would be the same. Any ideas?

If you are using a device to capture the sound as well as the audio, it may be too much for the USB port.

Try connecting the audio directly to the sound card on your computer, then change the options to capture the sound from the sound card, and the video from the capture device.

I'm expecting the same issue. FYI, I don't have a single droppped frame but my audio ans video is out of sync, even if I record the audio from my sound card mic.

 

It's easy to see when I am converting a VHS of 3 hours, at the beginning (0 to ~1hour) everything is ok, then the audio is slightly not in time and it's getting worst and worst.

 

Is there any way to fix it ?

In the program, click options. Check "Alternative Synchonization Method". But beware, if you do that, you will get "framedrops" (a 25 FPS movie is reported as, for example, 18 FPS in VLC).
