larryf
I "captured " 100 mins of VHS recording and was astounded to discover that the file size was 20GB plus. As I wanted to burn this family VHS recording to DVD this now seems impossible. Has anyone got any idea what I have done wrong or is this size file correct? Help Please....note I am not a technocrat so I assume I have messed up somehow.

Try one and see, for the cost of one disc it is worth it. Maybe try on a DVD-RW if you dont want to waste a disc.

larryf
karibarite I have decided to use a different s/w package called easy cap, which came with my capture device. It is easier to use and gives a better frame capture rate so no jerkiness! Thanks for you advice any way Larry
