  1. I swear I've been using this software for the longest time since almost 4 years ago and ever since I downloaded the latest version being VideoPad 7.11, exporting videos has been a complete and utter frustration because of this unnecessary and buggy feature. I'm making a video with a video & picture overlay and no matter what resolution & framerate combo, the video constantly zooms in with one of the text elements being expanded despite always staying cropped and adding black bars. I've tried Auto match content but fixes to 16:9, auto match content to a given resolution, 1920 x 1080, etc. with both letterbox and crop and zoom options chosen and every f**king time, it's the same result, either being that cropped mess I was talking about, or vertically cropped as if you were watching it on a phone. I just want to export videos the same way I used to: regular widescreen, 1920 x 1080 at 60 frames w/ no glitched zooms and black borders. Honest question: was ANYONE asking for this feature? Because VP was perfectly fine for me minus the slow loads and outdated features until this annoying ass "necessity" was added. This just complicates exporting the video and because of it, I can't get this video to export normally like I always have no matter what options I choose. If there's an certain setup of resolution options or other options I'm missing, please enlighten tf out of me (I'm trying to put widescreen photos and pictures, 2 text elements cropped and scaled down, in the same widescreen format by 1920 x 1080 at 60 fps) because otherwise this feature shouldnt be there. I'm not the only one suffering from bug issues with this thing; there's a bug forum talking about this feature too. Why this feature was added is making me pull my hair out.
  2. I am trying to publish a movie that;s a combination of videos where some were filmed horizontally and some vertically. When I'm editing the footage it all looks perfect in the preview but after I publish it the Horizontal video shrinks so that the width matches the width of the vertical video. I tried playing with some setting but the most i can do is have the Horizontal video full size but then the vertical video gets zoomed in really close so that the width matches the width of the horizontal video. I would like the Horizontal videos to be full size and the Vertical videos to be "full size" so that the height matches the height of the horizontal videos. I understand that there will be black bars on the sides of the vertical videos, and thats fine, thats how it shows up in the preview, it just dosnt publish that way. Can I get some help?
  3. Hello, As far as I can see, there ist still no possibility to export 16:9 videos as anamorphic mpegs, which would be vital for DVD authoring of widescreen videos. Anamorphic export should be possible following this article: http://www.nch.com.au/kb/10231.html. Maybe the anamorphic formats are available when exporting directly to DVD but since Videopad has no serious authoring capabilities, this isn't really a way to go. DVD specifications allow the following formats: - 720x576 square pixels for "normal" 4:3 videos - 720x576 anamorphic for 16:9 videos In the second case the video is compressed horizontaly and is stretched by the playing device later. With videopad mpeg export the only way to get 16:9 videos exported is via "letterboxing", means: exporting at 720px width with black bars on top of and below the 16:9 video. That isn't a decent way to do it. Or did you ever watch a commercial DVD with a 16:9 movie with black bars on top and bottom? So I think it's about time that anamorphic output is added to Videpad export features. 4. Hi gang, VideoPad is awesome, but I'm having difficulty capturing webcam video in widescreen. When I go record video, I always get a preview image in 4:3 format with black bars at the sides. Clicking "Force Widescreen" stretches the image, distorting the aspect ratio. Debut can capture widescreen video from my webcam, but it's an extra hassle switching to Debut just to capture video when VideoPad has a button for it right there. It seems a bit lame that VideoPad is limited to 4:3 capture from an HD webcam. I doubt anyone really wants to work in 4:3 any more. How do I get VideoPad to capture webcam video in widescreen? Thanks, Graham
  5. I have a video in .MOD format which is filmed in widescreen but when I edit it in VideoPad the software alters the screen size to standard. How do I return the video to widescreen?
