Hi to all. Long-time Express Invoice user, first time Forum poster. I'm having an issue lately where every day when I get to the office and open Express Invoice on my laptop, I cannot access it through Web Access on my PC in the office next door. It seems that the Local Network IP Address in the "Web Access" tab under "Options" keeps changing every day. This means that every day I have to check the IP address in the software on my laptop and then change the URL in my browser on my PC accordingly in order to access Web Access. Previously it used to work fine and the IP address would stay the same every day. Is there a way of preventing the IP address from changing every day? I had recently installed an SSD drive in the laptop, and I believe that's when the issue started. So I'm not sure if it's an Express Invoice thing, or a Windows 10 thing. Any assistance with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to all, Jovan.

Hola, tengo instalada la versión gratis de 4.56 y al intentar configurar el acceso externo web, no me permite realizar conexión, indica que no esta el direccionamiento el puerto 96. realice esta configuración correctamente en el router y también configure el acceso al software en el fiwewall de windows. Pero aun así, continua indicando que no esta habilitado el direccionamiento del puerto en el router. la duda que tengo, es si este acceso externo por internet, esta permitido para la versión gratis? o hay alguna restricción en esta versión que impide hacer esta conexión externa.? Gracias por los comentarios que puedan ofrecerme. Hi All. I recently installed and configured web access to express invoicing which works, but I would like to personalize the web portal to reflect company profile. How can I change the blue logo 'express invoicing' (top right corner) to reflect own business name or logo. Any ideas appreciated. Many thanks

hi all, I'm new to express accounts, having downloaded the software, I've tried to set-up the web access so I can use it on the road and my daughter can use it at her home. can someone please : 1 - tell me if web access is only available in the licensed version 2 - tell me how to set up the access on 'remote' machines, as the help file is not very clear. thanks, Pete

The search function on the web access does nothing. I try to filter my items by selecting a category or by entering the name of the item but nothing happens. It works perfectly on the software but not on the web access. Anyone else encountered this issue? I am using the French version btw. Thanks

Hi there, From our main computer, where EI is installed, I can add or change a prefix to the invoice number. But in the web access, there doesn't seem to be a way to do that. It's not the end of the world, but we have found that it defaults to the last prefix used. Which means if I add a prefix on the main computer, the next person to use the web access gets that prefix defaulted to the invoice number. Not good. It doesn't seem to do any good to just go in on the main computer and delete the prefix from the invoice screen. You have to actually record an invoice to change the defaulted prefix. Any suggestions? Teri

My company is new to using Express Invoice via the web. We have access to the primary user and the information that she imputs via the web, but we cannot make changes. When I click record I get a message that says "All items with a quantity must also have a Description" when there already is a description. The primary user get a copy (draft) with no edits. What are we doing wrong? Is there something we did not set up correctly? Thanks, Melody

Hi all, I am trying to set up web access for EI. I have the free version, as we are a small business. I have configured the router to port forward and when I run the wizard it says it is set up properly. However, when I try to access it through the web access button, or on another computer through th URL it tells me login failed and to 'check password' I have checked and rechecked, deleted the user and re-added users, and still get this message. Any ideas what I am missing here? * I have used the features in EI including the firewall check and it says its fine.
