I've recently started using VP and mostly like it, but I have one project that is driving me crazy. I have one sequence composed of 12 clips, and for 10 of them, the storyboard thumbnail is exactly the same (and it's a frame I'm not even using). I absolutely cannot figure out how to fix it. I've tried right-clicking on the sequence preview and choosing "use this frame for thumb frame," and I've quit the program several times and restarted it, I emptied unused files from the cache, and I believe I even emptied the entire cache and rebuilt it -- I checked "clear all cache files on exit" and then exited the program, so presumably that's what happened. Nothing works. Is there anything else I can try? I'm running 5.01 on a Mac, if that makes any difference. Thanks!

Hi With a big project on the timeline and your editing position now a long way from the start, there are occasions when it is useful to refer to the storyboard at that position. Unfortunately when toggling to Storyboard mode the display moves back to the start of the project which is very annoying when you require to be at the cursor position. Also the cursor line moves to the far right of the screen when going into this mode and so there is no reference point to scroll the storyboard back to. With dozens of clips on the timeline this is an unnecessary extra task. On toggling back to the Timeline mode one does return to the editing point but without the cursor line which has remained at one screen from the start. Can this be altered so that change in viewing mode is always centered on the cursor? Nat

I've been using to Videopad to edit together some technical tutorials recorded in multiple sections. Storyboard has become really useful to get away from the mess that is on the timeline but today I've made some mistakes while recording and it has required a lot of cutting and snipping of the video/audio track. Storyboard is now a horrible mess because I have nearly a hundred clips on it, most of which are less than 5 seconds ( I'm quite picky about editing out silence and uhhms). I started out with only 5 video clips but cannot tell where one ends and where another starts. Is it possible to combine all of the clips I have on the timeline into several long clips so I can again distingiush which clips are which?
