Apols for starting a new topic but I failed to find a topic to fit. Furthermore, I've combed the help files to no avail. I'm combining 2 simple mp4 videos however the exported result has audio only for the first of the sequence. When I import video that were recorded with the same setup, the volume is always at random values, if I play the original video with Media Player then it is going to be at the same volume, only after importing the video in the editor, the volume get's changed. I can share a video with the issue happening if it's useful. -0-0- Managed to solve this by updating to the last editor version.

Hi I have been merrily uploading 360 videos from VideoPad but now they don't appear as 360 videos when viewed on Youtube. I have tried exporting as 360 video to the local file system, then uploading as well as exporting direct to YouTube. I have tried using presets, I have tried checking the 360 video box and leaving it unchecked. The best config for me is: "360 degree 1980p" with the check box, unchecked for conversion from 2d to 3d. I have hi res 360 videos that work fine on my laptop but when I upload them, they become 2d. Has something changed? What is the foolproof way to make this work? Older videos on my channel still work in 360 but none that I have tried to upload in the last week. thanks for your help Nick

This issue is still ongoing. I have a licensed copy of VideoPad Professional 11.01. I just placed two clips into the que and pulled them down to splice together. They are both black on clips, preview and timeline which makes it impossible to splice them as it is scene dependent. What a waste of money for this POS software.

Hi. I used the Save Audio File function but can't find the wav-file. It is neither in the Downloads folder, Music folder nor the Video folder. Where could the separated audioclip be? Can you help?

Whenever I used older versions of VideoPad, I would set the zoom effect parameters and the clip would display just fine. |It filled the frame just as I wanted. Now when I click zoom effect in the newest version, all it does is shrink the size of the clip and create black bars across the frame instead of filling it. To top it off, in the exported video where the black bars are, it shows a still image of the last clip... This makes no sense to me.

Hi I am just Editing my church videos (way of the cross). today I updated the version to 10.36 .. After that if I reload the project , The non English texts which I typed in Tamil Language, showing incorrect in preview mode. it is displaying correct in Text Editor. But the problem is only in Preview mode. I extracted the video. in that also same happening. I spend nearly one month to edit the videos (17 videos). now the issue is happening. I can not roll back to previous version as well. Help in this is much appreciated. Here is the example : Please copy and paste "மீண்டும்" in text editor. In the preview mode you can see a junk in 3rd letter. -
I'm making a 16:9 video with lots of 4:3 images. Some are 3:4, some 16:9 and some are just plain 1:1. Each image should move slowly in the 16:9 video frame. But it seems my images create their own frame inside the video frame. If I want a 4:3 image, it is placed in a 4:3 frame inside the 16:9 video frame. And if I put the imnage in motion, it never goes outside the 4:3 frame, but gets cropped. How can I make it flow freely using the total 16:9 video frame? [edit] Ok, seems I used the wrong effect. Pan & Zoom doesn't move the image outside its 4:3 frame. Motion does.

I am editing a video with multiple moving green screens and am doing a lot of masking. The final product is in black in white. The problem is working with all the masks and layering the black and white filter. Is there a way to edit the video and then export in black and white? - Pat

One of the things the new version does is that when you try to zoom - if you dont have the image exactly the same size as the original frame - now it keeps the original frame behind it to bleed off the edges (instead of just leaving it black the way it used to). REALLY BAD GLITCH. It's not generally a problem when doing straight 16:9 or 4:3 - but if you are using a different aspect ratio, it is really irritating to try to get the zoom box exactly. So again - what we see is the original image on behind the zoom portion and filling out the frame. It should just remain black as it used to in the other version. Please advise if there is a workaround for this bug. Thanks, Chris

Newb here, so please be specific. I have a video where the camera was rotated in several different directions during filming. I would like to correct the bits that are sideways, upside down etc. What is the easiest way to fix this?

When adding a file with two audio tracks (game footage with split audio, one is for ingame audio, one is for microphone), when I go to choose the "Stream 1" option, both video and audio are added. When I try to add the file with the mic audio (stream 2), only the video preview is added, no audio whatsoever. I've checked with an mp4 file that I worked on previously, the issue appeared on that one too. Worked without any problems before. Tried reinstalling, deleting the "Components" stuff and clearing cache, nothing

solved Exported video keeps freezing in consistent place

Creating 1 video out of 3 videos, I've trimmed it how i want, it plays in the preview, but after exporting, right around halfway the video freezes but the audio continues. i see SEVERAL others with this same issue, nothing is wrong with the frame rate or resolution, or my computer. Please email me an update or fix to this more than 3yo problem or I'm going to use another program. I'm sorry, it's too frustrating trying to sit there patiently exporting an hour video several times only to experience the same issue. You know what you're doing? Holding back my business. -
I just starting having this issue this week... when importing video, audio track is empty. Audio plays wth all tested players. -0- I just installed the older version 8.91 that Borate recommended and now the Audio track is importing properly. Thank you I also tested with the latest release, but unfortunately it doesn't work. When is the next planned update to fix this issue? -0- The older version is not giving me to option to import audio track 2 or 3. The newer version prompts to select track number during import. I need these features. Please advise.

Hi, I updated an older version of videopad to the latest and found that a lot of my clips will no longer load, whereas they did in the old version. The MP4 clips were quickly edited in 'Bandicut' so I guess something is missing from that process. However, my older version of Videopad accepted them. What can I do?

Hello, I am using VP v10.10 & I'm trying to export my whole video but some clips are not exporting. I've noticed the ones that are not exporting in the final result are the ones who don't have a green line above them (Not Rendered?) unlike the text that is fully exported regarding if some text clips have a green line or not above them. So text-wise is all good at the end in the exportation green line or not. What might the problem be with the clips then? What it does in the export is it keeps the previous ''green lined'' clip frozen at the last frame & displays the text that should be displayed onto the next clip on top of that frozen frame. So the text continues flowing as if there was no issue with the video. *Note that the Text & Clips are on 2 different video tracks. **Audio is fine too. Thanks!

When I export the video, only the effects of moving the screen and the green screen worked, the cropping did not. Does anyone have any idea what it might be?

Sometimes when I try to adjust the size or position of a photo, it gets all distorted. Is there some way to make it not do this?

I have an Srt file with what seems to be the correct format, e.g. 1 00:00:00,000 --> 00:00:05,500 Every song should have a verse. 2 00:00:05,500 --> 00:00:09,500 So here is this one, 3 00:00:09,500 --> 00:00:14,000 for better or for worse. But when I load this, the entire file is positioned at time 0, apparently as one huge subtitle. I.e. the subtitles aren't positioned at "00:00:05,500" and "00:00:09,500" etc. I've tried several MP4 files and srt files, at this always happens. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Thanks

I'm using VideoPad on a Windows 10 computer. I'm trying to load an SRT file which I'll call "MY.srt" that I generated separately into an MP4 file. When I do the load, I get a message "0 subtitles loaded". I then (1) created some subtitles manually in VideoPad and exported them to a file I'll call "VP.srt". (2) copied VP.srt and named it VPCOPY.srt, (3) deleted the contents of VPCOPY.srt, (4) copied the contents of MY.srt into VPCOPY.srt, and (5) loaded VPCOPY.srt into the MP4 file. It loads successfully ("88 subtitles loaded"). The file size of MY.srt is 13KB, and VPCOPY.srt is 6KB. MY.srt and VPCOPY.srt look identical in my text editor (Emacs). The character encoding of MY.srt is presumably ASCII--- So my question is what character encoding of the SRT files does VideoPad require? And also how can I generate such an encoding?

I've got Switch, Prism, and VideoPad, and as far as I can see, none of them can convert a folder of MP3 files to MP4. Does any NCH product have this capability? I've got about 15 folders, each with about 20 MP3 files that I want to convert to MP4 so I can add subtitles for lyrics. Thanks
