Hello all... I just install Zulu, seems cool, at first glance..... I was specifically looking for a piece of software like another program I use, where the player intelligently mixes the songs based on its scanning of the music file, as Zulu seems to do. So I enabled autodj, thinking it would start playing the next song at the best place it think its would be best.... Its hard to explain... However Zulu just plays one song after another, I consider this a regular playlist that any piece of software can do, nothing special there, rather than smart autoDJ playlist where it takes into consideration where the place to start and stop a song would be in a mix. Not beat mixing per say, just a start and stop mix, but at correct place taking into consideration any silence at the beginning or end of the song... Do you know what i mean? Thanks all... Hi. I’m a novice WavePad user. As a learning exercise I was attempting to create the sound of bubbling water in a pot on my iPhone by stringing several copies of a single bubble from the sound library together, selecting all, and then trimming the silences through the entire assembled sequence. As far as I can tell, no change occurred regardless of changes I made to the silence threshold. Perhaps I should have used the Join function? I then tried to trim silences from a single instance of a water splash sound from the library. While I could see that some silence had been trimmed toward the end of the sound, clearly silence remained at the beginning and end of the sound. Several attempts using different silence threshold settings achieved the same result. Any advice regarding what I’m doing incorrectly would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'm recording from vinyl to create Wav/MP3 files, but am encountering a problem when it comes to silent passages, particularly at the end of the track. As the volume decreases and enters the 'fade-out', it starts to sound 'clipped'? So as if when it hits a silent section, it stops recording and then when some sound is detected it records, making the playback sound 'jerky'. Any advice greatly appreciated.

I was recording a podcast with a friend. We each had our own track ( 2 tracks total). Both tracks recorded audio from microphones. I can see that the audio was recorded, because the audio waves are visable and different for both tracks. However, when I go to play the Podcast, only one track shows audio, the other one is silent.

After every recording RecordPad automatically trims silence. This takes time and by the time it's done, the next song is streaming and recording does not start right away causing the front of the song to be clipped. How can I turn off this auto silence trim? It was not on the old version and since I upgraded it's driving me nuts!

We are currently using switch to convert uploaded audio to a workable format on the backend and are using something like: switch.exe -hide -clear -convert $SOURCE -format .wav -settings .wav PCM16 22050 1 -overwrite ALWAYS -outfolder $DIRDEST -exit with a lengthy (about 40 minutes) DS2 file. This seems to work perfect in version 2.03 in a matter of seconds; however, in version 4.6 it will stalled for 5 to 15 minutes and the outputed file only had the first 20 minutes of audio, the last 40 minutes was silence. Has anyone else run into this issue? Any help or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Problem 1: When I try to add 300 ms to each file in batch mode, it adds 2000 ms, not 300 ms. It evens shows 300 ms, but adds 2000 ms. When I reinstalled it, instead of false 2000 ms, it added 0 ms, not 300 ms that I needed and entered. That's true about adding to the end of files too. Problem 2: Is there any way to batch delete 1700 ms from start and end of a group of files? I couldn't find such a simple thing. Thanks.
