Hi, I purchased Inventoria for my small company couple days a go , so I'm new and I need some help please. I want to install Inventoria on six PC with one Administrator and the item database should by shared with all PCs. Should I instal it on the server (windows server) or I could just install it on my PC and host the items list on the server. Thanks A.S.B

I've used Golden Records for a while, although never to record more than the odd track from time to time. Since there isn't a USB Turntable set-up option, I thought I'd document mine. I'm now starting to seriously consider digitizing many of my favorite albums in full, a few every day. Looking back at vinyl tracks I've recorded in the past, I've learned a few things, but have some questions on options, levels etc. First my set-up. I have a Stanton USB T92 turntable that I use. It's connected via a USB cable directly from the turntable to the laptop computer running Windows 10. When playing vinyl through this, Golden Records not running, the sound quality and volume level are pretty good. The USB connection is using the WIN10 specific USB Audio CODEC 10.0.10586.0 and is the latest I can find. The output is from a laptop 3.5mm to a BOSE Surround System.(yeah I know thats not optimal and I've tried USB Soundcards from cheap to expensive and they all have some issue or other). I normally record using the GR Wizard, selecting direct phono to computer; play the vinyl at it's original speed and have GR set to the same recording speed. I have the sound recording device set to the USB turntable, the Sound Input Channel to "Master Volume"; the recording volume level is set to 8dB; The output WAV file is a pretty accurate representation of what I can hear when playing the vinyl, same levels etc. Next step audio restoration. For this I have don't use RIAA Equalization. Although the turntable is connected directly, not through an amp, using this seems to make the recordings way too much bass; I also don't use High pass filtering - this seems to make the output seem too "tinny". For output options, I select "Do Nothing". Normally I then use Free Audio Converter(Fre:ac) to convert to either MP3 or FLAC for storing on my NAS which is where the music gets played from. Fre:ac seems to have more options and produces better MP3 files, plus I can convert to FLAC, when needed. Finally, I use MP3TAG to retrieve details from discogs and tag files, add album art work etc. I use discogs as the tag source as I'm slowly adding my vinyl collection there as I record it, and for new vinyl I purchase. 1. If you record 33rpm vinyl at 45rpm does it impact the quality? (this would be a great time saver) 2. For Sound Input Channel, I have an option to set it to "Windows Record Mixer" - What is this and should I use it? 3. I couldn't find a good description of how to use recording level volume (anyone?) - does it impact only the volume in, or does it also impact the volume on the recorded digital file?

https://imgur.com/a/mvn5Qbn So in the link posted above, you can see some of the pictures to use as references, I promise I'm trying to give as much information as I can and will be describing the issue and set up to the best of my abilities but I am pretty new to this stuff and don't know a ton of what I'm really doing outside of having watched a few guides. The community seems to be a lot of "google it" types which, I understand! But I'm also at my ropes end as I just don't know what the right things to google are! So, when we record, we use the settings shown in those images and we also turn on input monitoring. The workstation is an i3 core processor (latest gen), standard box computer really. It has 16GB of RAM (DDR4) and a standard sound card. I can post followup pictures or lists with the specs if requested, I also don't want to give too much data as I know that can be a pain to read through if you don't need it! Anyway, when we record, we have three big issues right now. 1.) When we turn on input monitoring, there is a pretty bad (almost 1 second) delay from singing into the mic to hearing it. We're trying to do an a Capella so that's a bit of an issue haha! 2.) The audio on the track (we record at 32000hz if I'm using the right term, somewhere I read that's about CD quality) and have our buffers set at 256, the timing will start out on time but slowly get off course as the recording continues, we can't figure that one out for the life of us. Notes seem to almost stench out at points where we know they didn't when we were singing. 3.) There's this almost...skipping sound I guess? You can only hear it when recording or during playback but when I imported the track into adobe audition it was gone. Oh and there is another issue I've been trying to figure out. When I turn on the red stero button on my board, the monitors will loop this god awful noise, can't figure out where we messed up with that one. Any idea what we're doing wrong? Please let me know if I'm not giving the correct information and I'll be happy to work with anyone here as long as you don't mind with working with a noob like me haha!

Under Express Scribe Options > Speech to Text tab > checked box Enable speech recognition User-specific profiles > Add > User ID 0, Profile "Default Speech Profile" > OK User ID is populated with 0, Profile is blank Click OK > popup balloon saying Invalid profile for user 0 3.
