The very bottom line of the entire sheet only sound 'Acoustic Piano' when there are more than 11 instruments (I was composing an orchestral music) - I checked the parts setup and it was in Contrabass (the instrument I intended to sound). How can I fix the problem? 2. How can I make fermata work? Is it impossible for the program to play the fermata longer? 3. What does '12keys Transcriber' exactly do to the program? For me, it just opens a file and shows it in synthesia mode. It does nothing..

When I audio it will sound fine in the editor but after adding it to timeline it doesn't even sound like the same song? Like it only plays beats or just sounds like noise? Help

Hello everyone, So I am currently using VideoPad Video Editor to edit a music video for a client and so far it has been very good.But when sending out an exported rough cut of the video to a group of editors, an editor noted that after one of the transitions, there is a quick flash. I realized it was the fade transition going from nothing to the image, but once the transition ends, it cuts right to the video clip. I realized what was going on. It creates a weird "flash" effect because the clip during the transition is dark, but once the transition is over, it cuts to the original video clip which is light. I tried my hardest to try and fix it but I think it is just the software and there is nothing to be done about it. Has anyone else had this problem and if so, is there a way to fix it or is that just how the transition is and there is nothing to be done? All input is appreciated. Thank you, LaTasia G.

Dear friends, First of all, I would like to say that I use VP for many years, from the era of the early versions. I am a pianist and I make small videos for my piano covers and lessons, usually 3-5 minutes duration. VP was fast, flexible and easy to use. Upgrades are always welcome, some really gave a boost, but others unfortunately proved to be huge step backs. First and biggest issue, the automatic snap! I do not know why the developers listen to every person asking nonsense, but auto-snap is a huge pain in the butt of the serious users. After all, dear gentlemen of NCH, VP is supposed to be a professional tool, it is in it's title 😉. We do not use it to make selfie slideshows, neither clips from our vacation. We need to have full access to the timeline editor, and this means that we have to place clips and audio aside and use them later to fill gaps. YES, we need to keep and control gaps in the timeline. How are we supposed to do this, when every time we shorten a small part, all clips come to the left trying to snap??? By pressing the ALT key every time? Not practical. This is a huger burden for professional editing. I can understand you might want to satisfy the amateur user, who just wants to join 2-3 clips, but we kindly ask you, please, at least put a check box in the options to disable the cursed thing!😖 After version 6, at some guys request (who wanted to have VP look like Adobe's products), you changed the colors to dark gray with blue audio wave. This is totally unfriendly to everyone who spends hours zooming and matching audio. Especially the blue wave, when selected is very hard to see clearly. The best colors in my opinion where the original before version 5. Crisp and clear. Since this is my personal opinion, It would be nice if colors could be s selectable. In the latest version there are some awful vertical white lines on the timeline of many audio clips. The appear only after a specific zoom. I suppose this is a bug, since they did not exist in previous versions. Again, they make it impossible to work with the editor. Am I the only person who doesn't want films automatically produced to look like they're letterbox or vertical slit? This feature is ridiculous and one is unable to not disable it ! I have tried a suggested 'fix' which is to reduce my film from 4k to 1080... it doesn't work plus I don't want to reduce the quality.

I am creating a video for my church's Easter program and am having issues exporting. When I do, certain clips are not being included, leaving large chunks of blank screen time when I obviously have clips there. It isn't even consistent with a particular track. I just don't know why it would selectively not show things that are even shown in the preview... HELP?!

A big problem I seem to keep having with VideoPad is that frames of video clips covered in layered multi video track editing come out visible in the export. This happens to only some video clips. Yes I've cleared unused cache files and it still happens. Another problem I've had which I'm not sure is fixed now is videos appearing later than they should as dictated in editing when they have nothing but space preceding them on the timeline. I put a blank text image before them to avert this and have stuck with it, so I'm not sure if it's been fixed by now. And thirdly, I often see certain clips being lower than expected frame rate than other clips, assuming this isn't merely a fault of the computer I'm using; a HP laptop that isn't a very powerful computer.

Why if the recording on the pc was not pixelated and HD and was ok, why later of recording on a DVD its pixelated and the sound and the image is defective?

I have a problem that can hopefully be fixed soon about exporting and previews. I am using the latest free version of Videopad and every time I export my video after I have finished editing it glitches the final product up badly. Some effects and edits that were in the project that I added in either do not appear, or work incorrectly. The more obvious problem with is that when preview the video or watch the final product through media player or windows 10 preferred video player (idk remember the name) is that the hue of the video will be very, very badly screwed up, showing parts of the video in a blueish hue. This doesn't appear when I'm scrubbing through the video, nor does it in the sequence preview. I really would like any solutions or troubleshooting for this. EDIT: Alright immediately after I posted this I can't export my video anymore. It says "This is a trial demo version of VideoPad Video Editor Professional for evaluation use only. Please buy the program now to use this feature.

I updated to the newest version. Ever since I did that, my invoices look TERRIBLE! The "SHIP TO" field has the address all squished together/garbled. My business address which is under the logo on the top left side is also squished together. I.E. meaining that my address is 11503, and when I view preview its correct, but when I print it comes out 1503. What is going on here?? Any help would be welcome due to the fact that I have 500 invoices to create and print by the first. Thank you!!!! p.s I did purchase the "help" option, but thus far no answer.

I have had Vidoepad since October (I purchased it for the third time - previous licenses somehow expired). I didnt use the Pad for a month and now I created a sequence lasting around 3 mins - I can watch it on the small screens on the right, but when I want to preview it - there's just the opening pic and the whole sequence seems to last just 1/1000 sec. What is going on?

Hi! So I just purchased the Orion File Recovery software because I needed a reliable program to retrieve files that were deleted off of my external Seagate 3-Terabyte hard drive. The program installed correctly on my computer and everything, but when I went to try and do a scan for the recovery, I selected the H: drive (which is where my Seagate hard drive is located), and an error message keeps popping up, saying that "the parameter is incorrect". Help please? How do I get it to scan my external hard drive to recover those files...? Thanks, Alisa

hello all i just purchased the master's version of wavepad, thinking it would completely solve all my problems. up until recently i was using a pc laptop with sound forge as my editor. since switching to mac, the only editing software people would recommend, without spending loads, was audacity. i really don't like audacity, so when i saw wavepad was much easier to use and if purchased, could also utilize the plugins i already have, i was sold. and since buying and registering my copy, i have not been able to find a way to access or use these plugins with wavepad! they work with audacity, they work with ableton live... i'm not even getting the option to use them in the effects drop down menu. any help would be fantastic, as i wrote to nch 2 days ago when i found this problem and still have received no reply.... very best simon
