Hello VideoPad Users, In VideoPad 13.40+, we have added some additional music and sound effects to our music library in the Audiosocket folder to improve production options. We'd love your feedback of our selection and any suggestions for what we may be missing. Thank you!

Hello, I'm trying to put together a video to showcase a new song I'm making, but when I add the audio to the video, the audio in both the preview player and an exported video sound overly compressed, squashed, or limited. Every time there's a peak in the audio, it sounds like it hits a hard wall. Essentially, the quality of the music goes way down compared to the original song file--and the original song file isn't even that large in terms of space. Is there any way to change a setting so that way the original sound quality is preserved? This is a really big deal for me since I'm a small composer trying to get noticed :). Link to Google Folder containing files to compare: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1W9Kv-in-uiz2cX9Ad3N0-EsfiME4R8N3?usp=sharing I should also mention that this happens both with .Mp3 and a .Wav version of the song :). Thanks, James

I love videopad. It does a great job. The sfx and music are a nice addition but I hope you will expand the library overtime. It adds great value to the software, imo. Thanks.

Hello, There is music available to use when creating a video in videopad pro.... great, but is the music copyrighted, or is it fair use material? I don't want to get a strike on YouTube if I use this music. Can anyone let me know? Have you used any of it on YouTube? I would also like to know the correct attribution for any music used from Video Pad, is there a sample anywhere? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

When I audio it will sound fine in the editor but after adding it to timeline it doesn't even sound like the same song? Like it only plays beats or just sounds like noise? Help

Trying to find a "how to" to do 3 parts plus. Some with different instruments and some with one voice showing 3 parts or more.. Can anyone point me in the right direction please? The tricky bit will be aligning them with the soundtracks in the right place. Have already managed it with video, unlinking video sound to align prerecorded in place but not sure how that will work will several parts...

YouTube flagged the music I used in a video as copyrighted. This was downloaded from the video pad library. Is this true?

I want to use bookmarks to precisely mark the beat for songs when making music videos. If I could import a CSV file to label all the bookmarks, this would save at least a 1/2 hour of time per video. It would be nice if the time could be input in seconds - then there's no need for the program to parse the ":" and I can just do a simple formula using the BPM to convert to the time of each bookmark. I don't care about the bookmark color or name so much when importing the file, so maybe that information can be optional when making a CSV and just have sensible default values for them.

I've been working with VideoPad for some time now, but recently it started to do something weird. If i watch my video in the program everything is as I wish but after exporting there is a spontaneous fade out at the end of a random music clip. I already did as said in the following youtube tutorial: What more can I try?!

I upload instrumental music and click narrative to rap over the instrumental but when I do that the vocals are delayed by a second or two. Is there any way through narrative to have the vocals play not delayed?

I would like to edit a short movie of short clips witho a song that I will add - ie rather than the sound of the actual clips, I'd like the song only to be hears... how can I do this? Thank you!

Is this possible? I do drum kit covers for Youtube but thus far have only ever used one camera angle. I have also had another video running over the top in the corner of the intial video before. Now I want to be able to alternate between two main angles as I please. Is this possible?? So both would be synced with the audio and I can just just go between both videos as I please. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi all, I was wondering if there was a way that I could tweak an audio file (song) in a way where I can remove the background music and leave JUST the actual words they're singing? I split parts of the song to make my video shorter, but they both have a certain aspect that I want, so I want to take the background music out of the one where I just want the words so that it doesn't echo so much and sound messy. Any help is appreciated!

Hello, I am completely new to this editing thing and have just started using VideoPad v4.10 a couple days ago. I've spent a lot of time on it already but having a hard time figuring a few things out. I'm making a video/collage of road trip pictures and would like to include a video. Is there a way to include the video while still playing the audio that I want for the pictures? There also seems to be a bunch of gaps popping up left and right throughout the preview, even when I delete them, is there a way to fix this? Last but not least, I just want one song throughout the video which I have included already. It keeps re-starting where I have the picture transitions. How can I get it so that it doesn't do this? I just want one continuous flow. I appreciate any and all suggestions. Thank you. -April

Hi, I love the software except for one problem which is when I try to add background music to a video. During the video, if I am not speaking, the background music stops playing until I speak again. Any way to fix this? Answers highly appreciated, thanks. Corey Martin
