Like the title said, when text are used along with some motion effects, sometimes it will look choppy? (Please give me a word for this) and leaves some short after images. To fix that, set the text background opacity to 2 or 1, I prefer 1. Then switch to text background rather than editor background or something else (this options is a drop down box above the text background opacity option which is usually closest to the top of the text input box). Either directly pick the color white, or pick a dominant color in the background (this can be done using the tint tool). The text should now look better when doing motion effects and the background should not / slightly be tinted.

Hello, Can anyone tell me how to crop a video and then stretch it to the 16:9 aspect ratio? As you can see from the picture I've already attempted to crop it with the crop tool, but it leaves black bars at the side and top, I then took a look with the motion tool but it's to complex for me and I can't find a guide on how to use it, so can anyone tell me how to cut away what I've already cropped and then change the picture aspect ratio to what it was ie stretching the video?? https://ibb.co/TLn53Tg Thank you in advance!! 😊

I am trying to add a logo to my video and I follow the instructions. However, when editing the video effects (Horizontal / Vertical offset, Scale), the image flips vertically. This is undesired. I deal with this by flipping the image in Paint before importing it to VideoPad (so that VideoPad flips it back to the original). However, I find it weird that the software flips the image in the first place. Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug? Any suggestions are welcome EDIT: When exporting, the logo's that I use are stretched and therefore unusable. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi. I am trying to display two clips in parallel side by side. They were both shot in 16:9, so I used the Motion feature to shift each image horizontally so that the subjects are shifted to the left and right edges, respectively. Then I used Crop to eliminate the right half from the left-shifted clip and the left half from the right-shifted clip. Theoretically that should have produced the desired result. The problem is that when I combine the Crop and Motion features it displays correctly in the editor's miniscreen (each image separately is in the correct location displaying the correct contents), but when viewed in the main preview pane the cropped images are both centered! Am I missing something here? Thanks, Chris EDIT: Problem solved! If anyone else has this issue the solution is to put a Motion effect both before *and* after the Crop effect. Hurrah!

Hello After my last posting about splitscreen I did further testing and trying and made a larger PiP video consisting of 6 4:3 Videos in one 4:3 video. The working by percentage for scaling and moving the videoclips was tedious at first. By pixel would be much easier and thus faster. That the preview didn't show the results precisely just meant more work- and waiting time for me to encode the video several times to confirm all the positions in the real video. Example video: Looks good in the encoded result. Wait till the end to see the preview window in VideoPad while editing. Larger gaps and wrong proportions (the white bar is actually 720 pixels wide; as the exported video; 960x720 [= 4:3 Half-HD]). Is that a general bug? Or meant to be? VP not up for 4:3 editing? Only 16:9? Regards, Llama
