Hi. Greetings everyone! An absolute beginner here. To the point… I just cannot figure out, nor find any info on how the advanced brushes in the DreamPlan Landscaping tab are accessed. The User Guide reads (page #18 in the PDF): Well… What are those oh-so-special system settings that apparently can't be revealed in a damn (pretty crappy, btw) User Guide?!? Shortcomings like this seem so glaring and inexcusable to me that, from this one alone (yet not the only one I've noticed after hardly one hour of exposure) I've already regretted choosing and purchasing this software. I don't give up easily though… so I'll give it a few more hours. Let's see if I get to like it and eventually praise it! - I really want to… Thanks in advance for any help! Alberto, from Spain

Mac Book Pro 13", macOS Big Sur up to date. VP 10.79 There is no audio for any projects, previous or new. As well the volume control which was located at the bottom is no longer available. Not liking the new layout. Controls come and go with resizing windows. No dual preview option now. Where can I download previous versions for mac? Is there a version update page showing the changes made to each version? UPDATE: In a previous version 8.9, I had the audio turned all the way down. Running 10.79 it was still down, with no control to adjust. I ran 8.9, raised the volume, then ran 10.79 to now have audio. Is there a way to load various versions, each with their own setting in the OS so the preferences from the previous version is not loaded?

Hi! I'm looking for a Mac OS app (for a desktop Mac, not iPhone nor iPad) that can transcribe in REAL-TIME any audio PHONE CALL made via any means such via a browser like Google's Chrome WebRTC as a VoIP line (Skype, etc). If the conversation is a 3-party conference call (or more parties) where some people speak English and others Spanish back-and-forth, I need the software to transcribe BOTH languages, and I need to SEE the transcription in REAL-TIME (not record it and afterwards transcribe it). Do you know if there’s such a product (or products as it would be nice to compare) on the market today? Skype, for example has a nice "subtitles" feature where if you turn it on, you can actually see the transcription of any and all parties involved (be it two or more) in real-time, just as I need, HOWEVER (and this is the reason it doesn’t work for me), on Skype's settings, you need to select which language you want the subtitles to be transcribe to: English OR Spanish... So if you're having a call (such as a 3-party call) where some speak English and some Spanish, Skype will only transcribe correctly the languages that you selected, but not the other one… It will create the subtitles on the other language but they won't be understandable because it is not set to transcribe in such language. I have 10,00 plus hi res jpegs and am looking for a way to mass convert to low res for easier sharing on the web. The ideal solution for me would be to have an identical folder structure one containing high res images and the other smaller sized images. There are windows based programs to do this but looking to do it on my mac. Will this software do this? wasn't able to tell from the FAQs.

Just bought the software, had never used it before but when I boot it up the presets don't load, the categories are there but when I click on them nothing happens. I've deleted and redownloaded multiple times.

I have installed Express Dictate on a Mac 10.6.8. It recorded one time only and now I get the message "unable to start sound record device." My computer is able to record from Quick Time but not Express Dictate. There seems to be a disconnect with this software and the computer. Any help out there?

When I save my Photostage slideshow in mp4 it wont open in Dropbox, Quicktime or in any format that I can send. I am using the free version and wanted to upgrade because I have been pleased until this glitch.

I'm using express scibe on two apple computers in the same time (my secretary and I). The storage of all my dictation files is in the folder "DOCUMENT" wich I share and synchronize through Icloud (for Mac). It worked perfectly for a long time but since a couple of weeks I have lot of problems with Icloud synchronization (thousands of files waiting for synchronisation and nothing it freeze). I think the problem comes from the Express Scribe program. Does anybody uses ICloud the same way I do and is it perfectly working for you ? Maybe somebody have another way to use Icloud drive to share Express scribe dictation files ? Thanks for your help and comments and sorry for my poor english :-)

Hi I'm very new, I have a huge transcription 400 minutes in the notes box, but I didn't start a word doc beforehand! Now I have a Mac Air and the commands for copy paste Control C And Control V to paste don't work, please send me the commands that will work on a mac in the notes box so I can get this off the notes box and into a doc I can work with, please THIS IS URGENT!! Hi, I had to update my OS to Catalina on my Mac and it is now impossible to use the software anymore. Do you have an upgrade available to make it compatible with the new OS version?

The new update for the macOS Catalina mentions that Express Scribe will stop working if it is installed. When will a compatible version be released?

So I've just updated my MacBook Pro to Catalina OS and It's saying that I need to contact NCH for an update/upgrade so that Mixpad will work with the new OS system. I'm not a PC nerd or Apple "expert", so I'm sitting here wondering why (when I go to the Apple Store to download the latest version of Mixpad), It hasn't been updated for 2 YEARS!?!?! Seriously? I can't find anything about it on your haphazard website either? Still..... You enjoy that pint and a nice meal on that money I paid you to use Mixpad.

Installed SoundTap on MacBook Late 2016 model and it will not work. It will not show Sound Tap as an Output device in the MAC preferences. And, when I quit the program it will install itself again with the driver.

Running version 5.05 on Mac. I have 3,00 invoices and 3,300 items. When editing an invoice, I hit "Add Item" and the system lags for about 30 seconds when I select the quantity field.

I'm not sure if I have to put this somewhere just for Macs. but i just upgraded to Mohave and i got a pop up saying my Express Scribe would not work with future versions, ( I think, it went away too fast).Will i be able to get updates to my software if needed? Thanks, Sara

I'm using Debut in grad school to record counseling sessions. However, the fan noise is drowning out the dialogue. MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2013) 3 GHz Intel Core i7 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB Thoughts??? I bought a separate HD webcam that I can mount away from the computer. Maybe that is the quickest, least expensive fix. But if there's a solution on Debut or Mac, let me know. Thanks!

I downloaded the free version for Mac from the website which noted that Philips supported sound files would only work with the purchase of the Pro version. So, I purchased the Pro version, went through the process of registering my serial number and getting the registration code, entered that into my software as requested but still get notification that .dss files are not supported. Anyone else have this issue? Have I missed a step? My "About" says I have the Pro version (6.05) but don't seem to have access to the features I paid for (i.e. .dss file use). Help

I use a Mac and love Express Scribe but the font size in the transcription text area is sooooooo small it hurts my eyes and makes it difficult to catch mistakes and read back. I know I can zoom in on the monitor but the resulting fonts are not very crisp. Does anyone know how to change the display size for Express Scribe -- either by increasing the font size or increasing the display percentage to 200%? I should note that I have a large, high resolution monitor. I'm not sure why that functionality is nowhere to be found...at least not by me. Most other text editors have the font settings available through Preferences.

Hello together, I work with the Switch Audiodatei-Konverter Plus v 4.53. I have a registration for this version on a Microsoft PC. Now I bought a iMac and I want to use it there. I don't find the Install-Media for this Version 4.53 for the Mac. Is there a way to help me? Thanks. Agent Mulder

I just noticed this as i went to send out my invoices for my monthly clients and v 4.53 on mac has now a 15 character limit on company names? How is this possible, i have companies with WAY longer names then 15 characters.. Can this be changed in the custom invoice screen??

I am using a MacPro 13" Retina running OSX 11.6, El Capitan. This is the same configuration that was used to record using a recorder switching app Simple Recorder. I recorded several hours of a conference to transcribe minutes of the meeting. All of the files recorded as m4a files, and play back clearly on Quicktime, 5KPlayer, and others; so the audio is there. The files load into ExpressScribe and appear to be playing, as the counter is proceeding at a normal rate. However, there is no audio, at any volume. I have tried converting to aiff, wav, and mp3 with the same results. ExpressScribe's "welcome" file plays and the audio is loud and clear. I purchased and downloaded the newest version of ExpressScribe, hoping that would help. It did not...problem persists. It sure would be nice if such a vitally important tool, had a bit of real free support...at least during the set up and configuration time.

I recently switched to Mac and I'm running El Capiton. Express Scribe has not worked since I switched. It loads files at half (or less) than their actual length and sometimes, the audio won't play at all. I am at my wits end because there are next to no other programs (besides InqScribe) and I'm losing time and money!
