    lblaw posted a topic in Express Scribe

    Similar issue needing to transcribe data but accessing work computer via VPN protocol. Using Foot pedal from kit with software - able to install foot pedal on office computer, and setup in place. However, the same brand/model foot pedal (a duplicate) is not responding and software shows correct controller, and VPN accesses local peripherals and plug ins. Will keep working on this but are there any updates available to allow VPN protocol?

    How many computers can I use the same license number on? I like to go back and forth on my laptop and Mac. Do I need to buy the Express Scribe Pro software for each one or can I just buy 1 and install it on my laptop and Mac? And will my foot pedal work on both of them?

    Hello ! (excuse my Frenglish lol) Anyone facing issues with the foot controller infinity in-usb-2 with ExpressScribe Pro ? I configured it correctly, it shows status OK in the status bar, but when I press the controller it's not playing, nor rewarding, not fasting forward. Please can anyone help ? I bought this controller out of Amazon, and I cannot send it back anymore. A foot controller someone lent me, specific to Olympus dss player, works just fine with ExpressScribe. Should I downgrade ExpressScribe Pro ? Please note that my controller is brand new, no dust stocked inside it. Thanks for any help.

    I need to transcribe sign language videos - control video using foot pedal (stop, rewind 10 sec, play) so I can watch and type text of what is being said. I have Infinity IN-USB-2 foot pedal, tried downloading Express Scribe which recognizes the pedal, also Pedable which didn't recognize the pedal. I'm struggling with the process I had in mind: 1. Does Infinity IN-USB-2 foot pedal allow me to do this? 2. Can I transcribe a YouTube video? Or only open video files? 3. Needed functions: play, stop and auto backstep/loop i.e. going back 10 seconds. Would appreciate your input. Anyone out there who can tutor via Skype text or ? David
