Please help! I am new to this Forum. I'm not very Tech savvy, but I'm happy for accomplishing as much as I have. I have been using VideoPad for a few years and upgrading as needed. I just upgraded to version 8.71 and I have three videos I need to get done soon. The problem is after exporting a video, I'll review it to make sure everything is correct. But after upgrading, the video will play for only 2 or 3 seconds and then the frame will freeze while the audio continues on. I've reported this issue as a bug and downloaded the patch version they offered only to have the same results each time I export a video. I have to leave for most of the day but I will return this evening in hopes of solving this problem. But if anybody has any suggestions I would be more than happy to hear them. And thank you very much for any help. Just an update. Because I'm new to this forum I didn't know where to look or much what to look for. But since posting my problem, I located the solution on a previous post from another forum user. Thank you to anyone who took the time to read and I'm very happy to find a form that has helped me as much as it has so far. Mike

I'm just getting the hang of Video Pad video editor, but am held up now because two of my clips do not animate in the editor - in other words the video screen shows a fixed image while the audio is playing. Can anyone help with this? The other clips in the sequence behave normally. I've tried deleting and reloading one of the clips but no change.

Hello, I have started a new video project. I have recorded the videos on an iPhone 11, 4K at 30 frames per second. Video pad is struggling with these media files. They take a long time to load, any changes stalls the computer. They don't load & sometimes crashes. It shouldn't be anything that would stall the software, the video files are 873 MB QuickTime Movie (.MOV) & go for a max 5-6 mins time. I have to begin to use the iphone 11 4K on these video files so would really appreciate some help as it's urgent. I have uploaded the latest version, checked my free space on the computer, checked for malware. I'm using a hp pavilion x360 14. I can hear the computer boot up & struggle whenever I go near any of the video files. Thank you,Paul

I'm using VideoPad Professional 4.58. I've been using this version to edit videos on the same machine for a long time with no problems. I recently went from editing 1440p60fps content to editing 2160p60fps content and now I'm having problems. I separate my audio from all of my video clips. I have a single audio track playing one file and a single video track where I add my video clips. When I replay my sequence the video randomly freezes while the audio continues to play. It doesn't consistently fail between clips (I don't even use transitions) or in the middle of clips, although it's probably about 75% of the time freezing between clips and 25% of the time freezing in the middle of a clip. Even if I wait until previews are fully generated (green bar is filled on the clip) before I add them, they'll play fine in the clip preview but freeze in the sequence preview. I've tried checking and unchecking the "use hardware-accelerated" box. I've tried clearing and moving my cache. Computer info - Windows 10 64-bit Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700K CPU @ 4.00GHz (8 CPUs), ~4.0GHz 32GB RAM NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 Ti All of my video is stored on SSDs and my VideoPad cache is also configured to be stored on an SSD. I tried lowering my preview resolution even lower than I've always had it (down to 768x432) but this hasn't fixed the problem either. Any help anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated!

I've tried exporting this several different ways And messing with the ending but it always hangs at 98.5% can anybody take a look and possibly help me out. I am not even able to export it to drive

So the title says it all, every 30 seconds or so, the preview will just freeze up, the audio continues on just fine, and then I can't pause the preview, or do anything at all for that matter. I am new to this program, and I would appreciate any sort of help at all. Thanks in advance, -Column 1

Hello there, I purchased my videopad video editor software from NHC in September 2015. From one minute to the other my sequence preview and the whole programm got screwed. When I try to see the video I'm working on in the sequence preview/the preview/effects my video is constantly stopping(freezing/lagging),my video for some reason is always in slowmotion and also at one point it just stops and says: building preview even though the video has already loaded in. I really don't know what to do and unfortunately I cannot work like this anymore. I already tried to reinstall the programm, to give the program time and just play the whole thing once or twice with all the laggs,slow motion in the hope that after I played it like this it had time to calibrate all the crap and then be able to play it normal but no... it still doesn't work. Please if you have any tipp let me know! I also don't know how to upgrade the program. Thank you !

hello, after saving my movie in .avi i get following problem: when jumping through the movie it takes a long time till my player (vlc) has loaded. i heard there is often a option within video editors in general called GOP (group of pictures) where you can adjust the number of frames taken into seqential packages. it seems that videopad puts all frames into one package which forces the videoplayer to calculate all frames each time when jumping forward or backward. how can i change this behavior? sometimes i get also on some spots pixelating pictures ... cheers leo

ive worked with videopad for a bit now, its a pretty good program. though, ive run into a problem. ive been editing a video for the past couple of days and everything went well. until i abandoned that project for a day or two to start and finish a different project. now while i open the first project, it freezes when i play it. either it goes out of sync while i play it and then freezes, it plays the video normally, the video freezes but the audio continues,causing videopad to freeze, or as soon as i hit play it freezes. anyone got any helpful advice on this? forgot to mention it in the original post, im using the free demo version. whoops

Hi everyone, I updating VideoPad last night to 4.08 before that I had a version 3.** not sure purchased back in January so probably 3.85. Before updating I had a couple problems here and there with the program locking up aka not responding but it usually would pass and I could continue editting and exporting videos without a problem. However after updating, the program is basically unusable, CPU is usually at 100% the second I load in my project and never drops. Flipping between sequences to view them causes the program to not respond but will eventually pass and allow the sequence tabs to switch. I try to play the sequence (not in preview mode) and usually it somewhat starts going but it will just stop the video portion and continue with the audio and building preview will show up. Then it will caught up sometimes and show a portion or the next clip then repeat or constantly stutter. Going into preview mode is the same thing if I am lucky, it usually just doesn't load. The green progress bar is over all of the clips in the sequence so I can assume it's done? Exporting the video is also a no go, the final product is terrible, it stutters and freezes at times and overall ruins the video. I even tried reducing the quality but that didn't help. The source file/video I use is perfect, no stuttering what so ever. Earlier yesterday I made videos on the previous version that had great quality. Is the update to 4.08 the cause? Is there a way to revert back? Thank You, Whoistom
